AddressReporting directly to the Production Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining the physical organisation of the factory and warehousing areas, as well as monitoring stock levels, raising purchase orders when required and managing Inwards/Outwards Goods.
- Monitor stock levels, raising purchase orders as required
- Monitor all inwards and outwards materials/goods and ensure incoming stock is checked, signed off and put into appropriate areas or racking
- Package, label and organise storage of commercial returns as per instructions from Commercial Project Managers
- Working with the Storeperson, assist in maintaining a tidy warehouse with stock clearly labelled
- Assist in maintaining and promoting a safe and healthy workplace through active oversight of the factory, warehouse and yard environment, removing safety hazards where necessary, and actively communicating and reporting of potential safety issues to the Production Manager
- Remain up to date on company policies and procedures, and actively participate in 'toolbox' meetings
- Be available to work flexibly and extra hours as required.
- Provide assistance to production team as required
- Communicate any issues, problems and concerns to the Production Manager or other senior managers
