HR Partners by Randstad is excited to be partnering with an organization who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Relations Specialist to join their team for a 12 Week Fixed Term Contract project role.The Industrial Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with relevant awards and classifications and developing strategies to foster a stable and productive workplace environment.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial relations principles and regulations, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a mapping exercise of current staff roles and duties against identified awards and classifications.
- Lead the negotiation of the Enterprise Agreement and ensure compliance for the employees who are on individual employment contracts.
- Determine appropriate industrial strategy reforms to support continued growth and maintain a stable workplace environment.
- Develop a project implementation plan involving employee consultation and communication for agreed changes.
- Implement the industrial relations strategy, liaising with stakeholders including Finance (payroll) to ensure successful implementation.
- Significant Industrial Relations experience with high level knowledge of relevant IR and employment law.
- Demonstrated experience working within State and Federal IR systems (Australian).
- Extensive experience in Enterprise Agreement interpretation, and has negotiated an EA in a small-medium workplace.
- Dealings with FWC and the process involved in lodging/replacing enterprise
- agreements.
- Sound Knowledge and ability to interpret the Fair Work Act and relevant Awards.
