DevelopAg are an agricultural development company based in the Roma district.
We provide complete end-to-end property development services including water infrastructure, livestock infrastructure, earthworks services and vegetation management. We are a diverse team, with extensive experience in large scale agricultural and pastoral projects.
The Opportunity
DevelopAg are presently seeking a Supervisor / Team Leader to coordinate and lead our water infrastructure team. The role will primarily be the coordination of Irrigation Development projects and agricultural services, whilst retaining the flexibility to operate machines and work along side the team.
The Supervisor / Team Leader will be responsible for the day to day operations, and a key decision maker within in the Irrigation division.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring and providing assistance and training to other team members.
- Planning & coordinating projects, team, contractors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Daily recording of all works completed on site.
- On site management of company safety system and monitoring of team and worksite to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure all plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
- Monitor and oversee all on-site operations, ensuring all works are completed to the highest quality and meet QA standards.
- Project commissioning and hand-over.
- Client, contractor and supplier liaison.
About You

The following experience and attributes are highly desirable:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar leadership role.
- Experienced in the installation of agricultural irrigation systems and stock water systems.
- Experienced multi skilled machine operator (excavator, bobcat, trencher, tractor).
- Mechanically minded with experience in basic vehicle and machinery maintenance.
- Be accountable, responsible, and reliable.
- Have a positive outlook and can-do attitude, thriving in a team environment.
- Possess well rounded problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively resolve minor issues.
- Attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality workmanship 100% of the time.
- Hold a HR / HC driver license (preferred)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent planning and record keeping skills.
- Computer literate with the ability to operate a Computer/iPad (Outlook, Word, Excel).
