Your new role
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join the dynamic team.
You are responsible for providing level 1 through level 3 support to services, systems and hardware, to add or modify services, systems and hardware, and to act as subject-matter expert for all site IT functions. This is facilitated by:
- Resolving support requests and incidents raised by site staff, or site systems (fixing and providing things when asked)
- Resolving failures of site IT infrastructure (fixing things that may not be visible to users)
- Monitoring and maintaining all the site IT infrastructure (keeping an eye on the network and servers)
- Providing technical advice to site personnel on existing and potential IT systems.
What you'll need to succeed
- Considerable experience in information technology processes, preferably in a mining environment
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems.
- High degree of independence, strong troubleshooting skills and a broad familiarity of PC's servers and networks to layer 3.
- Previous experience in diagnosing connectivity issues in a complex network with ISE, AnyConnect, VPN, and other complications is highly desirable.
