We are a leading supplier of traffic management systems and products servicing government and the private sector. We are located in Western Sydney. We have an opportunity for an experienced IT Business Analyst to provide crucial input into the modification of existing and new products to meet growing demand from customers for increasingly sophisticated traffic management systems that take advantage of cloud-based technologies.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Assessing client’s product/systems requirements
• Modification of existing traffic management products to meet client requirements
• Assessment of future developments utilising AGD’s traffic management systems and the development of new products to meet clients’ emerging needs
• Development project plan and cost and time budgets for product modification and new product development
• Presentation of proposals to clients
• Project management of product modification and new product development using agile project management techniques
• Liaison with internal and external clients
• Develop and implement testing programs to ensure the veracity of the products/systems
• Supervise the migration of data to the new system (if applicable)
• Provide ongoing support to users on systems updates
• Provide training and user manuals for new systems/products
• Keep abreast of technical and industry developments

Skills required:

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Economics Science, or a related field.
• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology and Computer Science from a recognised Tier 1 Australian University.
• Previous experience in traffic management systems and radar configuration and deployment highly desirable.
• Proficiency in coding languages including:

• HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript,
• C++, C#,
• Visual Basic, SQL,
• Ladder logic and Function Block logic.

• Solid understanding of web best practices and standards
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with other designers, developers, copywriters, and other team members
• Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects
• Fluency in other languages (German, Spanish, French or Italian) highly desirable

Experience:

• At least 2 years of relevant IT Business Analyst experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
