Purpose of the Role:
Power Tech Consulting seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive our expansion efforts in Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand, where we already have a strong presence. This strategic role will also lay the groundwork for potential long-term expansion into South Africa and other regions as opportunities arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic plans to secure new business opportunities and expand market presence in Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand.
Forge robust relationships with industry stakeholders and potential clients across these regions to establish new business and strengthen market presence.
Lead contract negotiations and close deals with key clients, focusing on long-term, sustainable business relationships.
Collaborate with technical teams and product specialists to deliver tailored proposals and presentations that meet specific client needs.
Monitor regional market trends and competitor activities to adapt and refine strategies, ensuring a competitive edge.
Manage client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, encouraging repeat business and a positive industry reputation.
Regularly provide sales forecasts and strategic performance analyses to senior management to guide decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven expertise in Business Development, particularly within the technology sector and specifically in BI and CPM tools.
Extensive experience in sales, negotiation, and client management within the specified regions.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and inspire teams.
Strategic thinker with sharp analytical skills, capable of identifying and leveraging emerging market opportunities.
Familiarity with the business environments of Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand; insight into South Africa and other potential markets is a plus..
Preferred Experience:
Senior-level role experience in Business Development, especially in a technology-focused industry.
Established network and relationships within the business communities of Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and knowledge of other potential expansion regions.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel extensively across the designated regions and to other areas as part of future strategic explorations.
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
