What is the role?
We are currently looking for an IT Business Partner to work directly for our client in Parramatta. This position is responsible for day-to-day project management and governance of IT programs across the our clients organisation.
This role will ensure that programs are aligned with the Information Technology strategic plan, which aims to continue to meet the needs and expectations of all key stakeholders enabling the organisation to function effectively, in a strategic and cohesive manner.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Management and active participation in IT projects across the whole project lifecycle
- Collaboration with stakeholders, including leadership across the organisation with regards to identifying departmental technology needs, implementing best practices, and delivering IT solutions.
- Cultivation of strategic relationships with system providers and vendors to deliver success.
- Review of technology adoption and training practices to boost system up take and utilisation post implementation.
- Support the Head of Information Technology in prioritising projects and to ensure delivery of meaningful results from strategic initiatives.
- Proven experience championing organisational evolution, e.g., leading initiatives, products, services, or interactions.
- Demonstrated experience conducting strategic analysis of needs in business change and transformation programs.
- Analytical research skills including report writing and presentation skills with emphasis on developing quality technical specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including the ability to communicate, negotiate, break down silos and influence effectively across all levels of and organisation.
- Customer focussed with a strong service ethic and humility.
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate
- Good understanding of complex IT infrastructure and systems
- Ability to obtain a Children Check Clearance
