Your new role:
Due to the rapid growth of the organisation and the acknowledgment that technology is a key enabler of their future, Anglicare have retained u&u Recruitment Partners to build a new Business Engagement Team (3 permanent roles) reporting to their GM, Strategy & Architecture. The three roles will be IT Business Engagement Leads for each of their three core divisions: a) Residential Care, b) Seniors Living and c) Mission & Purpose + Corporate. These roles will be hands-on and strategic partnership roles that are a key interface between the IT team and business units, supporting a pipeline of transformational projects with modern technologies.
You'll:
- Uplift engagement between business and IT by positioning IT as a proactive partner on strategic initiatives;
- Coordinate initiatives involving IT from concept to implementation, and support change management and benefits realisation;
- Own and execute against specific IT Services engagement and delivery metrics;
- Pre-emptively identify IT capabilities that help improve business outcomes and solve business problems; and
- Contribute to IT strategy, roadmap and governance programs.
Your Background and Experience:
- Minimum of three years' consulting or engagement working experience in complex environments, with the stature necessary to interact as a strategic partner with business stakeholders and senior IT colleagues;
- Proven experience driving successful engagement and collaboration across Business & IT teams;
- Proven experience in Agile, Design Thinking and Customer Experience (CX);
- Experience working in Aged Care and/or Health desirable however not essential - all industries encouraged to apply;
- You will have intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking and strong project management skills;
- You will be an excellent listener and possess demonstrated experience in developing IT strategic plans and roadmaps that meet business needs;
- You will be passionate about innovation and helping to solve business challenges through emerging technology; and
- Above all else, you will have a humble, kind, friendly and trustworthy personality.
