About Balonne Shire:
The Balonne Shire is located along the beautiful Balonne River, just five hours' drive west of Brisbane on the QLD-NSW border. Balonne Shire Council has a dedicated team of 110+ staff and population of 4,500 people who live in the surrounding towns of St George, Thallon, Dirranbandi, Bollon, Nindigully, Mungindi and Hebel.
About the Position:
The Information Technology Coordinator provides technical advice on the development and strategic direction of Council's Information Technology to management and the ICT Committee. The position is responsible for the coordination of maintenance activities in association with the computer and peripheral equipment, to ensure an uninterrupted experience to the end-user. The position will work closely with the Manager Corporate Services to provide technical expert advice and recommendations best suited for Council.

About you:
- Cert IV or Diploma of Information and Communications Technology or equivalent, or other related field
- Highly developed computer skills, including proficiency using the Microsoft 365 suite; Azure, AD, Networking, VMware and Cloud computing. Experience with Microsoft InTune, Synergy Soft and MAGIQ would be an advantage
- Demonstrated experience and/or qualifications in providing IT services in a dynamic and diverse working environment to meet the needs of the organisation
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to use initiative, investigate issues, collect and analyse data and to make recommendations on solutions
What we can provide:
This is a permanent full-time position, the current salary is $78,639 - $81,345 per annum (an over award contract may be considered depending on qualifications and experience)
