In this crucial role, you will successfully manage & coordinate the reporting processes related to CarbonLink's Soil Carbon projects, as well as provide data analysis to provide actionable insight that supports business objectives and our environmental mission.What you'll bring to Carbon LinkThe position will work closely with various internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, R&D, & Corporate to ensure accurate and timely reporting of project data to clients, regulatory bodies & other relevant stakeholders. To facilitate successful project delivery a key part of this role includes contributing to the development and streamlining of reporting workflows, increasing efficiency and scalability.You will:
- Maintain reporting schedules and timelines for Soil Carbon projects.
- Analyse soil data to derive insights, design experiments & evaluate model performance using advanced statistics.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, R&D & Laboratory Staff to collect, organise, and analyse project data.
- Prepare field sampling results reports, including data summaries, analysis & insights for internal review and client submission.
- Support further development of the reporting process by championing results data management.
- Support our R&D Team with research, experiment design, analysis and publications.
- Qualifications in Science, Engineering or Data or a related field, with subject matter expertise in soils, agriculture, or carbon.
- Relevant industry experience in Soil Science, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or equivalent role.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis & reporting, preferably in the soil, agriculture, or environmental sector.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret & communicate technical data effectively.
- Advanced skills in evaluating model performance, experimental design with high level statistics.
- Familiarity with the Carbon Farming Initiative & Emissions Reduction Fund is a plus.
- Experience developing workflows and processes.
- Excellent organisational skills & meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate complex information to a range of audiences.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI.
- GIS Mapping - QGIS.
- Python/R code a plus.
