The role will see you assisting our clients directly with their technical queries in a competitive and fast paced IT environment, with a team of experienced and friendly technical engineers to guide and assist you. Our award-winning business provides our very satisfied clients with managed infrastructure, service desk, IT security and project management in a variety of exciting industries with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
You will be involved in the following:
- Respond to phone and email enquiries.
- Log, investigate and support the resolution of system faults.
- Provide network maintenance.
- Monitor the Help Desk and respond to hardware, software and network requests from users in troubleshooting computer problems (hardware, software and network) following best practices.
- Liaising with vendors and third parties to resolve issues
- Provide network administration support (establishing connections, firewall management, interface configuration, point of contact for Internet providers, troubleshoot network devices. etc.)
- Assist in documenting all IT procedures. Maintain instructions and procedures.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience in a Service Desk / Technical Help desk role, resolving Level 2 issues for Windows Desktop and Server OS for minimum of 1 year.
- Experience with Office365/M365 Environment.
- Experience with Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 and other business applications.
- Presentable and energetic.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English.
- Experience working in an SLA environment and ideally with experience using a ticketing system.
- Basic networking, troubleshooting and understanding (VLAN, Firewalls, Routing).
Desirable Criteria:
- Good documentation skills.
- Experience working in an MSP.
- Good troubleshooting skills in office peripherals (Printers, Scanners, Photocopiers).
