We are in an exciting time of integration and are looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic and passionate IT Manager to join our team.
The Role
We are seeking an IT Manager that will work closely with the CTO to create a secure and functional IT environment for all users at SUPA. The role will require you to think strategically, improve processes and keep focused on delivering to our internal customers within the business.
We are located in new offices in the heart of South Melbourne that will give you free access to in-building gym facilities, gym classes, plus access to great surrounding cafes. We are open to hybridwork arrangements based on the candidates needs. What you will be responsible for
- Implementing and enhancing secure operations across SUPA
- Running regular checks on system, network and data security
- Managing the SOC with external partner and ensuring all priority items are addressed with urgency
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of relevant hardware and software applications
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- IT Vendor Management
- Manage the consolidation of IT system/hardware and processes across the separate entities
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
- Designing training programs and workshops for staff
- Conducting regular system audits
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Contribute to the management of annual IT budgets for SUPA and provision of appropriate reporting
- Manage IT costs in order to ensure optimal budget allocation and cost management
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
- Providing direction for IT team members
- Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
Key Attributes & Experience
- Relevant tertiary education & Strong technical knowledge of desktop/LAN hardware and software.
- Thorough knowledge of security policies and practices.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple problems at once and prioritise issues.
- Demonstrated leadership capability
