About the roleAs our IT Manager, you will be responsible for the IT strategy, operational efficiency, fostering team growth, and aligning technological initiatives with key business objectives.
You will develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organisation with strong security, network & application management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and data flows.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and drive the overall IT Strategy for the business.
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports.
- Develop, monitor and maintain budget of all IT related expenses and capital expenditures.
- Manage company IT infrastructure [networks, servers, storage, and cloud services].
- Manage and support current systems [address IT requests, troubleshoot, and ensure smooth operations].
- Oversee security platforms and operational systems [cyber and data security controls and access].
- Resolve technical issues in systems/platforms, minimising downtime and limiting risk/exposure.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and systems to enhance efficiency and improve business operations.
- Test, troubleshoot and modify all systems and processes before implementing.
- Ensure seamless integration between different systems and applications to optimise workflow and data management.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide effective technological support.
- Manage ERP system to ensure efficiency and continuous automation.
- Manage 3rd party companies including negotiation of IT contracts, vendor management.
- Develop and maintain written procedures and policies including provision of regular employee training.
- Drive, lead and manage IT Projects as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.
- Proven experience in team leadership and management.
- Strong understanding of core Microsoft systems, including Office 365, Windows, Active Directory, Azure, etc.
- Proven experience in managing Network Infrastructure, Databases and Application Software, ServiceDesk.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive relationships with key internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
- Strategic planning, project management, and risk management skills.
- Analytical, collaborative with strong attention to detail.
- Flexible, dynamic with the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
