Seeking an IT Networks and Communications specialist to join a small IT Infrastructure team.

Your new role
You will be joining the Business Solutions and Technology group, who are responsible for the provision of all IT Infrastructure, tools and application development for the Agency.
Your role will consist of, but will not be limited to:
- Working with carriers and service providers to support and maintain IP VPN, Internet, SIG, E1's and fixed line services - Optus, AAPT, Exetel.
- Maintaining documentation relating to all the Networking and Telephony infrastructure and services.
- Maintaining and administering the Networking Monitoring Services - PRTG and Pingdom.
- Maintaining and Administering the Backup, Syslog, IP management service - Solar Winds.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate, you will have demonstrated experience and ability in maintaining, administering and providing operational support on the following technologies:
- Next generation Firewalls - Palo Alto.
- VPN Solution - Palo Alto Global Protect Gateway and Client
- WAN Infrastructure supporting regional offices - Cisco iWAN and Aruba SilverPeak SDWAN
- Core Data Centre Network - Cisco ACI
- Load Balancing and Application Delivery - Citrix ADC - Netscalers
- Corporate wireless solution - Aruba Wifi
- Email Security - Cisco Iron Ports (ESA) including Demarcian for DMARC
- IP Telephony - Cisco Call Manager
- Contact Centre Software - IPFX Servers
- Call Recording service - ATEA FTR Servers
You will also be expected to have excellent interpersonal and people management skills, and problem solving skills. You are expected to deliver high-level analytical and problem solving skills, as you will liaise with business stakeholders and vendors as required to manage impact and achieve timely resolution.
