Network Engineer

Kinetic IT is continuing to grow! We are establishing a new team, working with a new Federal Government customer, and looking for talented and motivated individuals to join us as we embark on our next exciting partnership.

This role will join our managed services delivery team, working with our Canberra based customer. The team will be nationally dispersed, but this role will be based onsite in Canberra Civic.

This role will see you focused on Cisco networking infrastructure and Remote Access VPN, along with ongoing initiatives to ensure the network environment is robust and aligns with best practices and future state architecture.

Keen to get involved? You will need some of the following:

• Demonstrated knowledge of Cisco networking infrastructure covering both Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Networks (WANs)
• Strong experience with Cisco and/or Palo Alto Firewalls and applicable management tools to manage such as Cisco Security Manager (CSM).
• Proficient in writing policies and procedures and other support documentation.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure and service management practices.
• Current active Government Security clearance, with ability to obtain and maintain higher level.
