PERSOLKELLY is seeking IT Support office to join one of their Key Government Client based in Port Headland.
Role purpose: The primary responsibility of the IT Officer is to provide a highly professional first point of contact for IT Support services to all employees.
Accountability:
- Act as first point of contact for IT related issues for all employees, providing specialist technical advice and direction with regard to hardware, peripherals, and software.
- Create a positive customer support experience, ensuring timely follow through, resolution and escalation, communicating promptly on progress and handling customers with a professional attitude.
- Respond to help-desk enquiries, providing specialist, effective and timely assistance in all areas of IT.
- Manage Response to standard IT Tasks including user management and asset roll out, as well as the deployment, configuration and security of desktop and mobile computing devices and peripheral devices.
- Assist with compilation and management of IT asset registers.
- Drive deployment of new technologies and services, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Review, maintain and develop IT procedures and standards, ensuring all ToPH users understand and are trained, where necessary.
- Undertake regular visits to work sites to provide on- site customer service, including providing on site solutions and problem solving to support business functionality and continuity.
- Assist IT managed service provider to maintain the optimal performance of IT systems and communications.
- Proactively manage stock levels of consumable, spares, and replacement equipment.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Demonstrated experience & knowledge of a broad range of IT Hardware, software, concepts, principles and practices.
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft products.
