ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking anIT Operations Manager to join our IT team on a full-time basis, based at our Hamilton head office. Reporting to the CIO, key focus areas include service management, business continuity, operational risk management, and continual service improvement.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Building effective working relationships with service providers, vendors, and consultants along with internal stakeholders to design, deliver and provide ongoing support with new and existing technology.
- Oversee management of IT-related projects.
- Leading and developing IT Data and Support team members
- Ensure stability, security and operational excellence in day-to-day operations.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Support the development of the IT strategy and roadmap.
- Undertake business analysis to support the development of business/user requirements.
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a similar position.
- Tertiary qualification in computer science or related.
- Ability to organise and lead a diverse range of resources to deliver value outcomes effectively and efficiently.
- Proven ability to effectively lead a high-performing team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated project management capabilities.
- The capacity to develop and foster effective relationships with a broad range of people at various levels, both within and outside the organisation.
- A solid understanding of service management principles, including knowledge of ITIL and project management methodologies, such as PMBOK/PRINCE2
