As the IT Project Manager for the Azure Foundation Project, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and successfully delivering the project. You will have a combination of technical understanding, project management and project management skills to ensure the effective implementation of Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure within our organisation.

Job Description
Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of dependencies and scheduling to achieve the wider Program Implementation goals.
You will:
- Oversee the implementation of Azure foundational services, including SDLC defined environments, AD B2C, APIM & Azure DevOps
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Maintain clear and open communication with project stakeholders and provide regular project status updates and reports
- Manage changes to project scope and objectives. Assess the impact of changes on the project timeline and budget
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, requirements, and progress reports. Ensure compliance with documentation standards
- Collaborate closely with the PMO to ensure alignment, consistency and quality
- Support and assist the Head of IT Operations with project admin/coordination tasks on larger initiatives and align business priorities
Candidate Profile
As the IT Project Manager, you will have prior experience in project management within the IT sector. This experience will serve as the foundation for successfully leading and delivering IT projects to meet organizational goals and client expectations.
A bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field and a Prince 2 certification (or similar) with MS Project experience
Your background will demonstrate:
- Proven experience with Azure Foundation implementation
- Proven experience in project planning, governance, vendor and contract management.
- Strong understanding of business evaluation cases, software development, IT infrastructure, and system integration.
- Proficient in identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Ensuring that projects meet quality standards and conducting thorough testing and quality assurance processes.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence teams to follow directives established by IT governance
- Demonstrated track record of achieving project goals and delivering value to the organization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders, team members, and executives.
- Strong documentation skills for project plans, status reports, and project closure reports.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
