Job Description
We currently have an exciting and rare opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at Minor Hotels.
In this integral role, you will serve as the catalyst for the successful delivery of projects, overseeing the implementation and upgrading of company systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ensure effective delivery of projects within defined scope, budget and time parameters
• Develop comprehensive project scopes and objectives, engaging relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility
• Maintain oversight or resource availability and allocation to optimise project efficiency
• Employ appropriate verification techniques to proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule and budget
• Gauge project performance through the use of suitable systems, tools and techniques
• Provide timely and detailed reports to management, escalating issues as necessary
• Implement effective risk management strategies to minimise potential project risks
• Create and meticulously maintain detailed project documentation to ensure transparency and accountability
• Facilitate seamless execution of IT projects by coordinating internal resources and third party vendors

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
• Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience in overall IT infrastructure, operations and service management or similar senior IT roles
• Solid understanding of new and emerging technologies and their strategic influence on existing infrastructure
• Broad understanding of a wide range of IT infrastructure and application technologies, with the ability to understand issues around interoperability of infrastructure and interaction with business applications
• MS Project and Monday.com experience
• Proven ability to take initiative, work autonomously and productively in a team environment
• The ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders
• Effective planning and organisational skills to manage pressure situations, multiple tasks and ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Maintain a high level of professionalism regarding confidential information and records
• Drive and initiative to take ownership and responsibility for geographically distributed activities, implementing processes and procedures at group level for consistent service delivery as well as a commitment to improving service performance.
