We are recruiting for a friendly and motivated permanent fulltime IT Service Desk Officer to join our IT team based at our ANZ Head Office in Northgate, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Global Infrastructure & Operations Manager, this key role to our business ensures the smooth operation of technology systems and provides excellent support to our employees. By delivering timely and quality resolutions to technology support requests, you will contribute to enhancing productivity and minimizing downtime through either resolution at Service Desk level, or timely intervention and escalation to our IT Specialists.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely Service Desk support to Metagenics employees, including email, office, operating systems, supporting hardware and peripherals during regular business hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
- Maintain User Accounts in Active Directory (On-prem and Azzure)
- Low level networking trouble shooting and documenting issues.
- Support internal users at our Northgate & Banyo facilities, throughout Australia, and Overseas.
- Assist in desktop application development and support including updating and patching existing products and installing new versions.
- Assist with implementation of upgrades to ERP system, freight systems, CRM and other company line of business applications.
- Other day-to-day tasks to assist Global Technology as required.
- Build new computers and devices to the Metagenics standard, attach to network and handover to staff members.
- Install new software to computers and devices.
Skills and experience
- Bachelors or diploma in computer system or equivalent work experience
- Highly developed analytical competency with the ability to develop logical solutions based on data
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to our customers.
