Our commercial client is seeking to engage a Service Desk Officer on a permanent basis, to join it's growing team of IT professionals, playing a key role in the next phase of growth for their ICT capability. As the Service Desk Officer, you will play an integral part in providing IT support and project services pertaining to maintenance and growth of the ICT environment. Responsibilities
- Monitor IT Service Desk system and document, resolve, escalate issues as required
- Provide administration and support for Active Directory and Azure, Office 365, workstations, printing system and backup systems
- Document all work relating to Service Desk tickets within Service Desk systems
- Provide level 1 support for existing data integrations and automations
- Assist in the delivery of IT projects as required
- An IT related Degree or currently studying for an IT tertiary qualification
- Previous experience with assisting in the provision of IT services to staff to solve technical problems and maintain a high level of customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and provide a positive and friendly customer service to internal stakeholders
- Hold a current and valid Blue Card and Yellow Card, or are willing to obtain
