About the Role:
The IT Support Engineer will develop support procedures and strategies for systems, networks, operating systems and applications development. Ultimately, responsible for solving problems and providing technical expertise and direction in support of our system infrastructure and process improvements, and to diagnose and resolve complex system problems across the Aurizn Group.
The role will be critical in the support of Aurizn employees – supporting, identifying and resolving IT-related issues, system access and other technical operational activities, necessary for business continuity, improvement and maturity.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing technical support to all users.
- Assisting project teams with integration and migration works.
- Revising and improving support procedures to provide a better service to users.
- Maintaining self service knowledge base content.
- Assisting in regular infrastructure maintenance tasks.
- Maintaining strong relationships across Aurizn, to be able to respond to IT issues.
- Managing users in Microsoft platforms (Office 365 or Active Directory).
- Operating system troubleshooting (Microsoft Windows).
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Must be an Australian citizen and be eligible to hold an NV1 clearance.
- Proven work experience as a technical Support Engineer.
- Knowledge of Atlassian products (Confluence / Jira).
- Previous experience in implementing best practice for I.T. support.
- Experience with enterprise IT service requests and ticketing
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think critically.
