About the role
This newly created role will provide support and IT troubleshooting to our teams predominantly on the East Coast with some opportunities to support our team in Western Australia. You will maintain infrastructure, hybrid cloud technologies in conjunction with our MSP. You thrive on providing outstanding technical support and troubleshooting across Windows environment and underlying infrastructure platform.
In this role you can expect to undertake activities such as:
Managing all IT aspects of staff onboarding and offboarding processes, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders in setting up user accounts configuring hardware and software, and providing necessary permissions to various programs with our Managed service provider.
Conducting regular audits and performing basic management tasks in Microsoft SharePoint, including managing permissions and visibility settings, organising document libraries, and ensuring data integrity.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement streamlined IT solutions.
Auditing of 365 tenancy incl users, licensing, Distribution Lists.
Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, resolving IT-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Assisting in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, tools, and systems to enhance the overall IT infrastructure.
Staying updated on the latest industry trends and best practices, proactively seeking professional development opportunities to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
About You
- An understanding of modern Microsoft operating systems and experience with 365, OneDrive, SharePoint and MS Teams.
- Ideally you may have had some exposure to networking and routing including hardware build and fault finding.
- You are experienced with user security and backup systems and will have experience with active directory and user management
- On the softer side you bring great communication skills and a keen sense of ownership of tasks and the ability to follow procedures.
- You have a friendly and positive approach with great orgnisational skills and you are energetic and eager to perform at your best.
- You must have an Australian drivers licence and be either a permanent resident and/or right to work in Australia in a full time.
