The Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 1/2, IT Support Officer to join our team. This role will involve providing up Level 1 & 2 IT support to all our staff nationally and remotely. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to expand their skillset by learning other roles within business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance in person and via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Diagnose and resolve Level 1 & 2 technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, and other IT systems.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
- Monitor Infrastructure, Network and Systems
- Manage and Document maintenance
- On-board new users and maintaining user accounts across all systems
- Supporting desktop/laptop and tablet hardware, printers and mobile devices.
Requirements for the position:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365 and common IT hardware and software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
