It Support Officer

The Mt Cuthbert Group is involved in the mining and resource sector with a number of projects operating in North West Queensland. With the head office located in the Adelaide CBD, we require the expertise of an experienced Support Officer who thrives on diversity and perfection.

Reporting to the IT Manager, the position of IT Support Officer is responsible for the day-to-day support of our cloud-based ERP software (IFS) and operating systems. Supporting operations across the Mt Cuthbert Group, the IT Support Officer will provide timely service and system administration to internal users across multiple sites, identifying the best solution to achieve the required outcome.

Your highly developed interpersonal skills will mean you have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business, resolving and escalating issues in a timely manner.

To be successful you will need to have:

• 1-2 years experience in an IT help desk or IT support environment 
• Knowledge and understanding of business functions related to the ERP System, IFS and Microsoft Office 365 suite (highly desirable)
• High level of customer service, computer literacy and problem solving skills
• Ability to problem-solve and think analytically, with high attention to detail
• Highly-developed organisational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to manage and overcome resistance to change
• Demonstrated initiative and experience in managing a high volume of work
• Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and remain effective under pressure
• Mining Industry experience is highly desirable
