Tentworld is looking for a talented and qualified IT Technical Support Officer to join our support team. Being the first line of support for our retail stores, headquarters and some external parties, you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, good problem solving skills and the ability to develop good rapport quickly. In addition to having excellent organisational skills, you should also possess the ability to learn and familiarise yourself with various software.
Working from the Head Office in Toowoomba where some of our IT infrastructure and distribution centre is, this is a predominantly office based role. Typical office hours are 9am - 5pm with potential for some flexibility.

- Manning the Tentworld wide Helpdesk, providing support to staff across the organisation via phone, video, or face to face.
- Maintain the ICT platforms across the organisation, via assisting with installations, maintenance and upgrades as required.
- Liaising with external parties to organise and coordinate device repairs as required.
- Onboarding, updating and offboarding staff onto job appropriate ICT platforms
- Responding to any issues or complaints.
- Providing operational reports to senior management.
- Any other tasks as designated from time to time.

- Proficient with troubleshooting across retail specific platforms, and regular software and hardware on required devices
- Experience with, and extensive knowledge required of spreadsheets and databasing
- Experience with WMS and POS systems highly favoured
- In-depth knowledge of the retail industry.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Able to solve problems using initiative and logical thinking.
- Detail oriented, organised, driven, self-motivated, and proactive.
- Able to perform and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
