About the roleWe are seeking an IT Support Officer Level 2/3 to join our team in either Brisbane Queensland, Melbourne Victoria, or Adelaide South Australia. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting internal information technology systems and users, ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of our technology platforms across national teams. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, printers, and scanners
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, addressing service issues promptly
- Provide technical support to the company, both in-person and remotely
- Set up accounts for new users, manage equipment repairs, and maintain desktops according to standards
- Safeguard information system assets by identifying and resolving security issues
- Configure user access, recognise abnormalities, and report security concerns
- Collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Network administrators to support network equipment
- Arrange upgrades for workstations/laptops and investigate faults in the network/systems
- Report network/system status to stakeholders and keep users informed
- Possibility of some on-call work where required.
To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates who can bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are desirable
- At least 3 years’ experience delivering IT support services for a national, multi-project organisation
- Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following applications suites below:
- Active Directory/Microsoft 365 User Administration
- Azure Service’s including Endpoint Management, formerly InTunes, (application packaging, Image management, etc)
- Exchange User administration
- SharePoint
- Knowledge Windows 10/11 Standard Operation Environments (SOE) policies and deployment methods
- Experience supporting and maintaining a wide variety 3rd party applications for the windows operation system
