About the Role:
This role includes, but is not limited to, user support, computer setup, maintenance and service, telecommunications, assisting with network and infrastructure maintenance, and all other technology needs as requested. Specifically you would maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals for the APAC regional team. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should also be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques. Ultimately, you will ensure that all computers and networks in the APAC region operate efficiently with high uptime.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
Full time, Monday through Friday, normal core business hours (8:30am-5pm) and as needed on nights and weekends.
Required Skills, Education and Experience
- 3+ years of progressive, hands-on experience providing desktop support troubleshooting basic technology issues.
- Strong familiarity with the administration of the Office 365 suite.
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products and remote control.
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
- Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities to help resolve technical problems.
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions.
- Solid knowledge of Windows 10 Professional.
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs.
- Knowledge of software distribution and patch management.
- Excellent communication skills. Strong written, documentation and verbal skills.
- Must work well in a team environment as well as independently in a fast-paced growing environment.
- Well organized and able to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Fluent English
- Comp TIA, A+ Computer Specialist Certification (Preferred not required).
- Experience with Virtual Desktop a plus.
