The successful candidate will enjoy performing the following tasks on a daily basis:
- Remote and onsite user support and assistance
- Daily systems maintenance and performance checks
- Backup checks and remediation
- Desktop device installation, configuration and support
- Liaison with 3rd party vendors; and
- Travelling to client sites to provide technical assistance.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes:
- Experience in aLevel 2IT Support role;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, and applications, networking, general software and hardware, and Active Directory;
- Installation and configuration of PCs, thin clients, servers and network equipment;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- A strong customer focused approach;
- A strong work ethic;
- A great team player; and
- A positive "can do" attitude.
In addition:
You must hold a valid Australian driver's license;
Have unrestricted access to your own vehicle; and
Some weekend and after hours work may be required.
