In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our mission by ensuring the efficient functioning of our IT systems. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our employees, enabling them to leverage technology effectively in their daily tasks.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and peripherals.
- Managing user accounts and permissions, ensuring security and data integrity.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on IT best practices and procedures.
- Collaborating with IT vendors and service providers to resolve escalated issues and optimize system performance.
- Conducting regular system audits and maintenance to ensure reliability and compliance with organisational standards.
- Assisting in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical skills across a range of IT systems and platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT or related fields (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
- Experience working with Apple products is preferable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as experience with common office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems quickly and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
