AddressDue to continued growth we are seeking an IT Support Trainee to join our legendary team.
In a rare opportunity, we are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for IT to kick-start their career.
The Position:
As an IT Support Trainee, you will be provided with on the job training while undertaking a Certificate IV in IT support. You will be exposed to the latest business technology and trained to provide outstanding levels of customer support.
You will provide remote, face to face and over the phone technical support to a wide range of clients in various industries. Based primarily from our Warragul office you may also be required to occasionally work from home..
As an IT trainee, your tasks and training will grow to include (but not be limited to):
- Hardware troubleshooting (PC’s, laptops, printers etc)
- Software troubleshooting
- Office 365 Administration
- Server administration
- Backup and replication monitoring/testing
- Networking (routers, wireless, switches etc)
- Engaging with third party vendors to resolve technical problems
- Creating and maintaining logs of ongoing and completed tasks
Skills and Experience Required:
- A genuine passion for technology
- Thorough troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to multitask and keep track of a variety of tasks happening simultaneously
- Can prioritise and meet deadlines
Eligibility requirements
- Current driver’s licence
- Pass police checks
- Be an Australian permanent resident
