About The Role
Reporting to the Security & IT Manager you will focus on the following areas of responsibility:
- Administer IT Infrastructure including LAN & WAN networks, server and storage hardware systems, backup and disaster recovery solutions, cloud-based systems, and telecommunication systems.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining a Windows environment including Windows Servers, Remote Desktop Servers, Exchanges Servers & SQL Servers.
- Assist in maintain a VMWare Virtualization platform.
- Manage backup and disaster recovery products.
- Lead in administrating Exchange server on-prem, Office 365 and Azure base services
- Maintain and configure an IP telephony system.
- Handle service desk escalations ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Participate in IT related projects, ensuring that project management methodologies are adhered to.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of Mosaic Brands’ IT Infrastructure; suggest, document, and propose infrastructure improvements to support the business.
- Report on system activity as required, including but not limited to usage of services, backups, server performance, system up time.
- Keep up to date with new technologies and systems, and evaluate suitability for use with our business.
Who You Are
This role will require strong communication, leadership skills and confidence to deal with a variety of stakeholders. You bring a customer focus to understand requirement and can think on your feet and be proactive. Ready to start a new role in IT and you additionally possess:
- Solid experience in a Level 3 technical role, preferably within the retail sector or multisite organisation
- Strong networking skills with hands-on experience in managing Palo Alto, Meraki & FortiGate routers
- Experience in managing a Windows Network environment including Windows Servers, Remote Desktop Servers, Exchange Servers & SQL Servers
- Excellent knowledge on Virtualisation technologies (VMWare)
- Hands on experience in managing backup and Disaster Recovery products (Veeam)
- Knowledge on Storage Area Network systems (NetApp / Lenono)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices and service management principles
- Familiarity with retail-specific technologies is desirable
