A leading global brand with deep IT & Engineering investments in Sydney is looking for a professional to review and assist them reach their evolving business goals.
Assessing resources, including assets, contracts, personnel & finances to enable the future of thier IT departments sustainability & success.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the CFO, your role as an Internal IT & Systems Audit Specialist, you will play a crucial role in reviewing current operational IT systems, assets & operations. Responsible for assessing the effectiveness present IT systems & 3rd party vendors, and recommending improvements to mitigate vulnerabilities & improve streamline of functional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive review of Hardware & Infrastructure systems, IT and applications, and assess the effectiveness of internal IT controls and identify areas of potential change.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand IT processes and identify areas for process improvement and automation.
- Commercial review of vendor contracts & relationships.
- Review current platforms (Including Power BI, Cognos, Infor amongst others).
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans to address identified issues including streamlining of systems for Budget alignments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience in similar IT & Systems audits.
- Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) nice to have though experience essential.
- Proven experience in IT & systems auditing, risk assessment, or related fields.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in using auditing tools, data analysis software, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experienced IT/Information Systems Audit Senior required.
