Job Description

Our Vendor Management team leads the commercial negotiations with our technology vendors and broader 3rd parties to achieve the best value and broader business outcomes for the Group. They support the ongoing contract management and performance improvement through the contract lifecycle working closely with our technology leaders, product owners, business stakeholders and project managers across all parts of our business to achieve outcomes.

This role is responsible for implementing strategies to maximise value and reduce risk in our IT sourcing and contracting, and for improving our contract-related reporting and analysis processes to enable informed decision-making, compliance monitoring, and performance optimization.

Expertise in IT procurement, market analysis, contract negotiation, as well as in data analysis and reporting will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact Management for a portfolio of IT contracts

    • Collaborate with business, legal and finance teams to understand and clarify their requirements, and ensure with company policy

    • Leading contract negotiations, including terms and conditions, pricing and service level agreements. 

    • Ensure contracts are properly executed, reviewed and renewed as required.

  • Cyber Security Governance

  • Contract Reporting and analysis

    • Support the contracting team function in developing and executing a comprehensive reporting strategy across all contracts.

    • Manage the Contract Management Report to ensure it is up to date. 

    • Present contract lifecycle data and insights and assist with renewals and renegotiations

    • Collect contract-related data from multiple sources with accuracy 

    • Analyse and present data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities

    • Define and monitor contract portfolio performance metrics

    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts

    • Implement processes to monitor contract compliance

    • Develop and implement automated reporting solutions using data visualization tools to streamline data collection, analysis, and presentations

    • Create dashboards and visualizations to provide real-time insights into contract portfolio performance

    • Prepare and present regular contract-related reports to various stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

What we would like to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field 

  • Proven experience in IT procurement category management preferably in a large corporate environment

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), Microsoft Excel, and contract management software

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for managing data, reports, and contracts

  • Exceptional communication skills for presenting insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable but not essential:

  • Knowledge and experience in Media technology products, services and industry trends

  • Experience with database management, SQL, and portfolio management software is advantageous.

  • Prior experience in contract reporting, portfolio management, legal operations, or business analysis is beneficial.
