About the Role
We are looking for an ICT Vendor Performance Analyst to join our Vendor Management team, which is part of the Corporate Services ICT Business Engagement area. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the management of suppliers by delivering supplier performance reporting and supplier improvement analysis and activities to monitor and ensure that the supply of services is to agreed standards.
- Temporary opportunity until August 2024 (maternity leave cover), with a possible extension
- Clerk Grade 7/8: $106,025 - $117,363+ super

Collecting and analysing supplier performance data and investigate problems to enable meaningful insights and appropriate recommendations to improve compliance, effectiveness and risk mitigation
Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance, customer satisfaction, and market intelligence to inform better decision making aligned to organisational priorities and outcomes
Validating that suppliers' performance is in accordance with contract terms to ensure compliance requirements are met
Engaging proactively and collaboratively with suppliers to resolve unsatisfactory performance to minimise risks and disruptions ensuring optimal service delivery and outcomes for the business and customers
Contributing to the implementation of supplier management-related service improvement initiatives and programs to enhance business operations and performance
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Professional experience in the use of data analytics and reporting in the management of contracts and suppliers
- Ability to analyse and interpret trends and results of financial reporting, contract management and business intelligence systems and prepare easily understood reports for business users
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and manage effective stakeholder engagement strategies
- Results-focussed outlook with an ability to manage and execute complex projects, challenge the status quo and use strong consultative skills, including business acumen, customer empathy, with the ability to influence and partner
- Experience in working closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
