Iteration Manager - Salesforce

DWS is seeking an Iteration Manager to join our Salesforce practice to ensure our team continues to mature in Agile principles & practices. Working with our key stakeholders & wider teams to deliver high quality outcomes.

Salary: up to $170K (including super)
What youu0027ll be doing:

• Develop, champion & evolve approaches and practices to support Agile project delivery using SAFe
• Deliver complex technology solutions to achieve business objectives in a multi-technology environment
• Manage all aspects of a project including, planning, project cost, scope definition, stakeholder engagement, risk and issues, project reporting and team/resource management
• Work with the Product Owner to identify & manage stakeholders, understand stakeholder interests & ensure that impacted stakeholders have a common understanding of new features or changes introduced by the solution
• Facilitate agile rituals; sprint planning/backlog grooming, showcases, retrospectives, daily stand-ups
• Build key relationships across the business & technology teams outside of the scrum team to ensure expectations for delivery are met or managed appropriately
• Have a strong understanding of software development including CI/CD
• Configure & manage tools to support Agile delivery e.g., GitHub, Trello, Miro, Jira and/or Confluence projects/boards/repositories
• Have deep applied knowledge of Agile project management principles, practices & ceremonies
• Develop and implement continuous process improvements & best practice
• Coach the team on agile ways of working, fostering continuous improvement to grow agile maturity, resilience & high performance
• Cultivate and encourages a culture of agility & openness and implement agile best practices
• Facilitate discovery workshops with business & technical stakeholders, story prioritization & estimation with the Product Owner or other stakeholders & perform story walkthroughs with project team members
• Use technical as well as functional knowledge to remove roadblocks within the standing team as well as identifying technical risks (e.g., risks with architecture, design, patterns, performance, etc.) & communicate obstacles requiring outside resolution

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Agile experience leading a multi-disciplinary team in complex environments
• Experience in one or more Agile approaches such as SAFe or Scrum
• Proven experience in risk identification, management, mitigation & change management
• Strong understanding of Agile principles & processes, with experience in delivering team coaching (and sometimes motivation).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate & manage expectations
• Highly developed in verbal communication with the ability to deal with people at a range of levels of an organisation including liaising with a wide range of diverse IT & business stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills including an ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask and prioritise
• Creative approach to problem-solving & storytelling with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
• Relevant tertiary qualification is preferred
• Minimum 4 years technical experience in Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Communities
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams
• Task board management skills with tools like JIRA/Confluence, Miro, Trello
