AddressOur Perth newsroom is looking for an experienced news reporter capable of covering breaking news fast, who can also generate original ideas for stories that will appeal to WAtoday’s audience.
The successful candidate will deliver clean, accurate copy to meet deadlines. They will cover topics including politics, Perth city life, business and more at the direction of the Editor.
Day to day you will:
- Write stories daily covering breaking news and more
- Attend and contribute to news conferences
- Pitch story ideas and conduct the research and interviews necessary
Please note, this position may require you to work 1 later shift during the week and possibly a weekend day.
This is a full-time fixed-term position until 13th September 2024.
