About the business
eCollect is a mid size collection agency occupying a floor in the Melbourne CBD. Most of our staff members work from our central office location but our internet based systems (which we own) allow experienced staff to work from home. We have very low staff turnover and many have been with us for 10 years or more.
eCollect is family oriented. We have three husband/wife combinations and plenty of other family connections e.g. father/son, brother/sister working with us.
There is a mix of brand name clients as well as a multitude of small to medium sized businesses who use our services.
We operate under a performance-based business model where there is no upper limit on what people might earn, We are flexible but we expect our people to work hard and obtain results.
For those who can provide real value to our clients, the remuneration can be three or four times the current industry rate.
As a Junior Account Manager, you would be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of various clients at eCollect.
Role / Duties
- Manage their own client portfolio;
- Responsible for contacting debtors and negotiating payment plans;
- Daily tasks include dispute resolution, and high volume calling/emailing;
- Have access to in house lawyers and experienced staff for matters that require escalation or further assistance;
- Have the ability to build and develop relationships;
- Adhere to company & legislative requirements;
To be successful in this role
- Hold full, unrestricted working rights in Australia;
- Entry level / have around 1 year of relevant work experience;
- Driven, positive and team orientated attitude;
- Strong negotiation skills & problem solving skills;
- Have excellent communication skills;
- Willingness to learn and be adaptable with change;
- Have great attention to detail;
- Highly organized;
