THE OPPORTUNITY
We seek an experienced Junior Accounts Payable Officer to join our Mulgrave team. This role will suit someone keen to focus on Accounts Payable duties and provide support in other accounts activities when required. Training will be provided on in-house systems and processes.
This is a full-time permanent office-based role working the hours of 8.30 am to 5.30 pm Mon to Fri.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing end-to-end Accounts Payable
- Intercompany invoices
- Updating price lists
- Raising purchase orders and shipment orders
- Update insurance details for subcontractors
- Processing credit card transactions
- Reconciliation of suppliers’ statements
- Managing Accounts email account
- Daily liaison with suppliers and managing incoming emails
- Assisting reception/administration duties
- Ad-hoc tasks
CANDIDATE'S QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
- At least 1-year experience working within an accounts environment carrying out some AP and administration duties
- Demonstrated experience in a team environment, collaborating with and supporting other members.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Keen to learn and develop within an accounts team, taking on extra responsibilities and ownership of your projects
- Professional and driven with the ability to create and maintain positive relationships.
- Attention to detail along with excellent time management skills.
