About the Role

Our client, a psychology-focused organization specializing in self-improvement resources is seeking a talented Junior Animator to join their team for an exciting project involving the creation of online video content. The project aims to develop short, engaging videos (approximately 2 minutes in length) that provide psychology tips and strategies tailored for children and parents. The videos will be styled in 2D or motion graphics animation, utilizing a visually appealing and captivating approach to convey the information effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality 2D or motion graphics animations for educational video content focused on psychology topics for children and parents.
  • Collaborate with the project team to understand the creative vision and objectives for each video.
  • Develop storyboards, character designs, and visual concepts that align with the project's goals.
  • Animate characters, objects, and text elements using industry-standard animation software.
  • Ensure smooth transitions, timing, and overall flow of the animations.
  • Incorporate feedback and make revisions as necessary throughout the production process.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in 2D animation or motion graphics animation, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Adobe Animate, After Effects, or Toon Boom.
  • Excellent understanding of animation principles, timing, and movement.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain visual consistency.
  • Creativity and ability to translate concepts into engaging visual narratives.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with the project team.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage time efficiently.
  • Knowledge of animation techniques suitable for educational or instructional content is a plus.
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) is an advantage.
