Junior Cash Room Administration Clerk
We are seeking an experienced, self-driven Junior Cash Room Administration Clerk responsible for performing a variety of clerical accounting and invoice functions for our multiple Food and Beverage venue operation, located at Melbourne Airport.
Duties include reconciliation of daily takings, compiling and sorting large volumes of cash, calculating and verifying amounts in regards to EFTPOS, foreign currency, coffee loyalty cards, delayed flight vouchers and various payment systems. Prepare banking deposits, spreadsheet entries and operational staff training. It also encompasses some supplier invoice data entry functionality as required, as well as other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by the Senior Administrative Manager.
Handling and reconciling large amounts of cash on a daily basis is a large part of this position.
Essential Functions:
- Daily data entry into Excell Spreadsheets
- Reconciliation of daily banking from 16 outlets
- Compiling and sorting large volumes of cash
- EFTPOS, foreign currency and other account charge reconciliation
- Prepare Bank Deposits
- Prepare Change bags for multiple venues
- Investigating & following up daily variances
- Supplier Invoice data entry
- Stock transfers & wastage
