Job Description
Your new role
We're looking for people who have a real drive to make a difference-for our customers, for each other, and for CSC.
As the Junior Data Governance Analyst you will contribute to the establishment of a foundational Data Management capability across the enterprise, by taking on a range of meaningful tasks including business requirements analysis, solution design, execution of policies, standards, and completion of operational activities.
You will proactively contribute to the development and maintenance artifacts, including process guides, templates, and standards related to DQ, metadata management, and other essential components. You collaborate with stakeholders to thoroughly understand business requirements related to data standards and data quality in software development and data migration programs.
You will also act as a facilitation resource to educate, engage, and collaborate with data stewards, playing a pivotal role in guiding them through their journey towards maturity.
Desired Skills and Experience
What you'll need to excel
- Tertiary qualifications in information technology, computer science economics, statistics, mathematics or engineering, science or equivalent experience
- Experience in Data Governance and delivering the development of operating frameworks, policies, roles, instructional material, and training.
- Experience in Change Management with ability to effectively engage, communicate and collaborate as well as navigate and influence stakeholders
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills are key to your success in this role, with ability to foster productive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality data related advice & services
- Metadata Management - Experience in participation and delivering the identification, classifying, and cataloguing disparate data sources data in a standardised format.
- Data Quality - Experience of participation in of Data Quality requirements and assessing and monitoring data quality
- Experience and knowledge in the delivery of data and analytics solutions utilising agile delivery frameworks, methods and practices
