Junior Electrical Engineer

The responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Interpret designs given by clients, architects and engineering consultants and provide value engineering options
• Drawing reviews, take offs, detailed quantities take offs.
• Produce and assist with tenders preparations, procurement and quotations
• Working with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate competitive pricing and information.
• Preparing material, labour costs and project budgets
• Providing effective support to Project managers to enable effective critical path execution of the project plan
• Knowledge of Microsoft projects and Levey's an advantage

The Successful Applicant will have either a strong design background within a consulting firm or a strong track record working for an Electrical Contractor. You will have excellent communication skills, a strong business acumen and sound local knowledge of electrical systems. Ideally, we are seeking a professional with five (5) years' experience as an Estimator or Designer with appropriate trade qualifications / A Grade Electrician certification and/or Engineering Diploma or Degree.The Offer includes:
