A family-owned Civil Contractor in Sydney's South West, specialising in iconic infrastructure projects across Sydney and regional NSW, has opened a permanent Junior Estimator position due to increased workload.
The company specializes in bulk and detailed earthworks, stormwater management, and primarily collaborates with builders on various projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
Assisting with take offs, gathering quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, managing general administrative tasks, and attending tender meetings alongside the Senior Estimator to engage with clients.
DUTIES.
- Take offs
- Obtaining prices from suppliers and subcontractors
- General admin duties
- Accompany Senior Estimator to tender meetings with clients
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Proficient analytical skills
- Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets
- Competence in interpreting construction drawing and designs
- Exposure to projects such as earthworks and stormwater
