Description:
Due to rapid and exciting growth within our organisation, we are seeking a Junior Finance Business Partner to join our team in Hindmarsh.
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will work alongside various business units to ensure accurate financial reporting, while providing clear financial guidance to management and operational teams. With an emphasis on providing high level professional financial analysis and advice to colleagues, you will prepare monthly management accounts and contribution to month-end closure.
In addition you will also be required to:
- Provide financial modelling for annual budgets and forecasts, including commentary around financial analysis’s that have been undertaken.
- Provide administration support for the ongoing maintenance of finance and reporting systems
- Develop ongoing relationships with the business units to ensure a pro-active service.
- Provide commercial insight and strategic support to the CFO in relation to financial targets, efficiency, and delivery of key business priorities.
- Contribute to the preparation of a robust business planning and the annual budget that links to Corporate Strategy.
- Collaborate and negotiate with a broad array of stakeholders to work towards optimal business outcomes.
About You
We are seeking a true business partner with proven experience providing high level financial advice to leadership teams setting strategic direction. With a background in management accounting or as a Finance Business Partner, you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to provide advice, assistance, and interpretation of financial information and financial reporting to internal stakeholders.
You will also have:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Financial Management or related discipline
- Some modules completed in CPA or CA and working towards completion
- Practical experience in a management accounting, financial planning, reporting and control or related role
- Experience working within not-for-profit or government is desirable
- Strong technical skills to utilise systems to extra and analyse large volumes of data
- Highly developed interpersonal and relationship building skills
- A community minded approach
- The desire to make a difference to people with disability/disadvantage
- A current National Criminal History Record Check (Police Clearance) (or be willing to obtain one)
- A current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check (or be willing to obtain one
- You must hold a current and full driver’s licence and have a working vehicle
