Junior Graphic Designer

• SALARY $55k-$65k +super

• We have a rare opportunity for an organised and talented Junior Graphic Designer to join the Lanolips Global Brand team. 

• Founded 14-years ago in Sydney, Lanolips has grown to be recognised as one of Australia’s most successful skincare domestic and international exports. 

• Due to the rapid business growth, in a newly created role, there is a need for a Junior Graphic Designer to report to the Art Director, CEO & GM to work on all graphic design execution to ensure visual consistency and progressive brand storytelling.

Job Description:

As a Junior Graphic Designer, working alongside all members of the Team, you will play a vital role in executing designs for packaging and digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about beauty and possesses a keen eye for detail and design. • Collaborate with the design team to execute innovative packaging designs, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market trends.
• Create visually appealing and engaging print and digital designs for various platforms, including social media, websites, POS, email campaigns, and digital advertisements.
• Assist in the development of brand identities and visual assets to maintain consistency across all marketing materials.
• Produce mock-ups and prototypes to present design concepts and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills required to maintain digital filing system 
• Work closely with product development teams to ensure packaging designs meet functional requirements and manufacturing specifications.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging design techniques to maintain a competitive edge.
• Execute finished art details, adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and sales, to ensure design objectives are met and brand messaging is consistent.
• Assist in photo retouching and editing to enhance product images for digital and print materials.
• Support the CEO, Art Director, Production Manager and Marketing Managers, in various design-related tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Unrestricted work rights in Australia
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
• Portfolio showcasing strong design skills and creativity, with a focus on beauty products, packaging, and digital design.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design principles.
• Ability to translate conceptual ideas into visually appealing designs that resonate with target audiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality designs that exceed expectations.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of print production processes and techniques is preferred.
• Passion for beauty industry trends and a desire to contribute to the success of beauty brands through creative design solutions.
