Status: This is full time role (38 hours per week)
Job description:
• Design, implement, and evaluate human resource strategies, policies, and plans to align with organizational goals
• Provide guidance and support to managers on effective recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, and development practices
• Develop and implement performance management systems to enhance individual and team performance
• Develop and enforce occupational health and safety programs and equal employment opportunity initiatives to ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Manage work visa process for current and new employees
• Coordinate with outside Accountants the payroll on a monthly basis
• Offer training and advice to managers on personnel and workplace relations issues
• Act as resource for manager’s and other employees’ questions or concerns.
Qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor and or master’s degree in business, psychology, or related discipline.
• The selected candidate should have solid experience in Human Resources, recruiting, office management, or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management.
• Proficient computer skills - Microsoft Office, Slack, zoom (or similar), and willingness to learn/master other programs and software as necessary.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
