The Secondment Initiative:
PC Legal is currently looking for permanent team members to join our Investigations Secondment team. Working directly within Procare’s Investigation Unit for 9-12 months, you will have exposure to all lines of insurance (Medical negligence, public liability, general, property, Workers Compensation, and CTP) and all jurisdictions nationally. Clients include national and international insurers & underwriters, government departments, corporations, self-insureds and Comcare to name a few.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a keen eye for detail and a passion for investigations!
You’ll be part of a team responsible for handling insurance investigations including client liaison and file triage, investigation plan preparation, skip traces & witness location, preparation of statements & affidavits and report writing. Our files include work injury damages & common law matters, recoveries investigations and complex personal injury matters.
Options at the completion of the secondment include possible permanent roles within Procare Investigations or returning to PC Legal.
We are flexible with employment engagement and are seeking full time and part time candidates at both our Sydney CBD office and Alexandria office.
About You:
- 1-2 years relevant law experience (mandatory);
- Have excellent organisational and communication skills;
- Have strong attention to detail and demonstrated initiative;
- Be committed to delivering quality services; and
- Have an interest in insurance investigations, litigation and/or recoveries practices.
