Are you looking for a Property & Estate law firm that operates with a difference? Do you have around 6 months experience in a property practice? Want to apply your work ethic in a fast paced, fun work environment and team?
You can learn from an experienced Principal Solicitor who is also a barrister, and an Associate that has risen from a Paralegal within our boutique law firm. The Practice Manager will ensure that you are mentored on your property and estate matters so that you can become the key point of contact for our clients in our property practice with a view to leading our property practice in the future.
The growth in our boutique property and estate practice means we are looking to appoint a practitioner who knows that they want to do property law and they want to become a client's trusted point of contact. We also understnad that some experience of working in general law could be advantageous.
We will provide you with ongoing training and experience to turn you into the property and estate law specialist you want to be. On offer is a salary package commensurate with the training you will require to become a first point of contact with our property and estate clientele. Our services include property transactions with SMSF's as well as the establishment of SMSF's for our clients.
Our ethos is to present the law as ‘accessible, understandable and affordable” to our clients and we operate using a ‘virtual business model.’
As a Solicitor you will use your PEXA experience to execute your property transactions and manage the client communications and expectations. This will include working on complex matters with property settlements, some in SMSF's, as well as the usual gamut of basic law issues e.g. Estate Plans, Probate matters, along with asset protection strategies and ultimately contract dispute matters.
You will be:
• Supporting the Principal and Associate in advising, transacting and liaising with clients
• Managing settlements from beginning to end
• Preparing documents
• File management and record keeping
• Liaising with key internal and external stakeholders and colleagues including solicitors, barristers, the Court and other key specialists, including training of paralegals
• Ensuring new clients are successfully integrated into the firm
• Working on Property Settlements, including those in Self-Managed Super Funds, across Australia, Estate Plans and Probate for the first 6 months to ensure that you are the first point of contact for our clients.
