Located in the esteemed Milton Green Estate, next to the city, we are looking to expand our Brisbane team. Our firm is based in Milton, and we are a part of the Milton Green building group. Main duties will include:
- Provide legal advice and assistance
- Ensure files are managed appropriately
- Draft legal submissions for applications and appeals
- Keep file notes and evidence on files
- Ensure timely and positive contact with clients
- Ensure budgetary requirements are met from month to month
- Work closely with Director and Senior Commercial Lawyer, as well as autonomously
You may be the right candidate for this role if:
- you have a keen interest or relevant experience with commercial transactions, contracts, business structures, business regulation and commercial disputes
- you have experience drafting customised letters of advice
- you enjoy the challenge of working on highly varied matters
- you have excellent drafting skills, a logical mind, an eye for detail and can think ‘outside the box’
- hard work, persistence and being able to adapt quickly are endearing qualities you pride yourself on
- you are admitted to practice, are able to manage clients and run transactions with autonomy; and
- You would like to be part of a dynamic and committed team of lawyers
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- Unwavering commitment to providing exceptional client service
- Commerical Law experience - 1-2 years +++
- Have a keen interest in professional development
- Ability to form strong working relationships with clients
- Enthusiasm, energy, self starter
- Strong attention to detail and ability to retain large, specific amounts of information
- Strong and keen sense of judgement, as well as high ethical standards
- Be a commercial specialist
- Exceptional ability to work harmoniously with team members
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within the team and the firm
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to manage and meet deadlines.
